《自私小孩的祈祷》

现在我要躺下睡觉，

真诚地向我的主祷告，

如果我在醒来前死去，

求主让我的玩具都坏掉。

这样别的孩子就再也不能碰它们了……

阿门。

《八只气球》

八只气球都没有卖掉，

在一天下午合伙逃跑。

气球带着线飞向天空，

开始了它们的自由行动。

一只高飞碰到骄阳——砰!

一只玩耍在高速路上——砰!

一只落在仙人掌上睡觉——砰!

一只留下陪伴淘气的宝宝——砰!

一只想把烤肉先尝为快——砰!

一只与豪猪谈情说爱——砰!

一只到鳄鱼嘴里探头探脑——砰!

一只坐在那里，慢慢地扁了下来——哧!

没人买的八只气球，

挣脱束缚一起逃走。

无论高飞还是四处漂流，

就算粉身碎骨也是它们的自由。

《孩子和老人》

孩子说：“有时我会把勺子掉在地上。”

老人说：“我也一样。”

孩子悄悄地说：“我尿裤子。”

老人笑了：“我也是。”

孩子又说：“我总是哭鼻子。”

老人点点头：“我也如此。”

“最糟糕的是，”孩子说，

“大人们对我从不注意。”

这时他感觉到那手又皱又暖。

老人说：“我明白你的意思。”

《没人》

没人爱我，

没人疼我，

没人给我摘梨摘桃，

听了我的笑话没人会笑。

我打架时没人帮我，

夜深了没人替我做功课。

没人给我亲吻，

没人为我流泪，

没人觉得我是个好宝贝。

如果你上课提问，谁是我最好的朋友。

我会站起来回答，没人就是我的至交。

但是就在昨晚，我吓得浑身打颤，

我醒来发现没人不在身边。

我大声叫喊着去拉没人的手，

没人通常就站在黑暗中间。

我在屋子的每个角落搜索，

所有找过的地方却都是“有人”!

我找得累了，而天已是清晨，

毫无疑问，他已走了，

我的没人!

《总得有人去》

总得有人去擦擦星星，

它们看起来灰蒙蒙。

总得有人去擦擦星星，

因为那些八哥、海鸥和老鹰

都抱怨星星又旧又生锈，

想要个新的我们没有。

所以还是带上水桶和抹布，

总得有人去擦擦星星。

《锚的困惑》

我们的船有个太大的锚。

于是我们坐在这里想办法。

如果不带它，我们会迷路。

如果带着它，我们会沉船。

如果我们坐在这里，继续讨论，

又会影响航行的计划。

对于水手真是件麻烦事，

如果船上的锚太大。
